Chesselhuus Dorfsaal Pfäffikon

The Chesselhuus in Pfäffikon in Switzerland offers reconfigurable spaces on two Levels, available for rental according to event requirements.

Capacity for up to 720 people can be found in the ‘Dorfsaal’ (village hall) and Foyer, while the Rex room is a fully equipped cinema for 144 people. Arthouse and mainstream cinema, children's theatre, satirical theatre, musical events and much more - everything takes place there.

The 9.4 million Swiss Franc building conversion was very precisely budgeted, so it was essential to keep the costs under strict control.

For buildings that must, of necessity, be available for multiple purposes, HAHN louvre windows provide the dual functions of natural ventilation and smoke extraction.

The windows produced and supplied by HAHN in cooperation with <link http: www.simon-rwa.com en.html external-link-new-window external link in new>Simon RWA Switzerland are equipped with 46dB sound insulation panels, thus ensuring that events taking place at the same time in different rooms of the building do not interfere with each other acoustically.

In addition, it is also possible to ventilate the rooms before or after events, and the windows also have an important role in extracting smoke from the building: Integrated into the ventilation system supplied by Simon RWA, HAHN louvre windows ensure smoke-free escape routes.

The NCS Frame surfaces, profiles and insulated aluminium panels were adapted to match the construction of the building. Because the angled frames were manufactured to conform to the existing structure, the units could be installed directly into the substructure.
