Climbing, freeclimbing or sports climbing - whatever you call it, it has become an established popular sport. The more time we spend sitting in the office, the higher our need for movement in everyday life: the perfect balance can be found in a climbing hall.
No matter whether it is on the beginner's track or the professional athlete in the extreme, everybody finds his challenge. Following the trend, new climbing halls are currently being built and existing ones are being modernized - such as the climbing center Schweinfurt with more than 1200 m² of climbing area.
In the course of the new and conversions, HAHN Louvre Windows have proved their worth for ventilation.
S9-iVt-05 (double insulation glazing) or Tairmo (triple insulation glazing) Louvre Windows are used here – just depending on the building's energy standard. Both types provide supply of fresh air over a large area and can be controlled either manually, electrically or pneumatically.
Over the past few years more than 10 climbing halls have been equipped with HAHN Louvre Windows. In the largest climbing hall in the world (DAV Thalkirchen) as well as in Schweinfurt, Munich-Freimann, Ehrwald Climbing Center ‘Zugspitzarena’, Climbing Hall Winterthur, Climbing Center Marburg, Climbing Center Fulda, Climbing Center Berchtesgaden - just to name a few.
Our report about the DAV Thalkirchen - 7,800 m² climbing area – can be found here.
